Foundation.
The Foundation shall be a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State ofPennsylvania and its purposes are exclusively charitable and educational as set forth in the Certificate of Incorporation. More specifically, the purpose of this Foundation is to support community service activities that are intended to benefit the residents of the city of Chester, PA and the surrounding areas. This community service shall include but shall not be limited to funding of (in whole or in part) and/or participation in various social action endeavors. By example, the social action endeavors may include but will not be limited to providing scholarships and tutoring assistance, assisting with academic and educational advancement, conducting after-school events, and also performing local, regional and national social service projects (such as Habitat for Humanity, St. Jude’s, March of Dimes, etc.) Further, the Foundation shall exercise all powers conferred upon the Foundation for charitable and educational purposes, including but not limited to the power to accept donations of money or property, whether real or personal, or any interest therein, wherever situated.
